One of my favorite walks in the world, along the shore of Lac
Leman...and there among the flowers is the Little Tramp. Nice and relaxing with magical views.

I agree with everyone else, it actually isn't a brilliant statue of the little The Tramp but the setting is beautiful.
You can pay your respects to Msr & Mme Chaplin at the Corsier du Vevey cemetery. 201 bus or walk to the Vevey funicular stop. Cross the road and follow the Cemetery signs (300M then right). CharCharlie and Oona are on the right, you can't miss then. James Mason is next door but one.

The Charlie Chaplin statue on the promenade in Vevey is a nice point of interest. Especially if you're a fan of the famous actor. Vevey turns out to be a place where many famous people lived, outside of the glitz of Montreux, since it is a quieter alternative to the other nearby cities of Montreaux and Lausanne.

The main show is really the walk along the promenade to enjoy the view of Lake Geneva and its aqua green waters, the gorgeous flowers along the way, and the snow capped mountains in the near distance. You can catch a bite to eat along the road and also enjoy the view.

I went here for an evening stroll after office.
The statue in itself is good.Nothing much to say.
The Alimentarium is just behind it and the famous Fork in the lake marks that.
The views of the lake from here are mesmerizing. There are also some seats put on the rocks by the shoreline.

In honour of the many famous people who lived here, there is a series of bronze statues commemorating them. Charlie is but one. Take a stroll along the lake between Vevey and Montreux, and you will find Freddy Mercury and others. If you are not a fan of statues, then enjoy the magnificent views of Lake Geneva and the French Alps.
