My Mum and I had the pleasure of staying at Sports-Lodge in February 2013. Right from the beginning we felt the warm and welcoming by the host Michael. Michael had a personal approach and beautiful charisma. She was genuinely kind and caring. She made our stay a very pleasant one and took her time to talk to the guests and provided tips and suggestions where needed. The rooms were basic but very clean and had a decent sized fridge where we could store some drinks and food for our day trips. As commented by others, the breakfast was divine and everything you could ask for. Attention was made to the presentation and cleanliness of all dishes. The bread was scrumptious and made even nicer with a huge selection of homemade jams, cheeses and cold meat. The dining room is very cosy and you overlook the mountains. The location of this lodge was very convenient to all facilities. We would not hesitate returning to this lovely lodge and welcoming host.
