Stayed here for four nights. The staff was very attentive and professional. I only speak English and this was no problem. Everyone in the hotel seemed to be multi lingual and communication was never an issue. The rooms were exceptional. Cleaned and serviced twice a day.

The food in the hotel restaurants was quite good and the bar atmosphere was good over the weekend. Kind of quiet during the week that I was there.

The spa was quite good. I especially loved the heated outdoor pool with a foot or two of snow surrounding the perimeter.

The mountain was great for skiing.

Room Tip: I had a suite with tradional decor. Some like the modern, both are available. I do not have repeat...

This is the place to disconnect and enjoy your skiing experience. The staff is very well organized; everything is set-up to make your life good and easy. You arrive and they unload your skies (goes to the ski room) and your luggage (which goes directly to your room while you sign in). It’s a real five star; they trust you (and do not even ask for your credit card, as their clientele is trust worthy). I never used the car during my whole stay, as they offer a shuttle service to any point in town, which is convenient when you go skiing. I was invited spontaneously to a dinner with friends, so they organized a gift (Bündner Nusstorte) for them in no time and no extra charge! The breakfast buffet is an absolute must – all high quality stuff. Try the honey, it’s the most natural and not processed I have ever seen (still in the honeycomb). So even though it’s expensive, you really get a lot for it in this well run hotel with a lot of space and first class spa.

We stayed here using the powder Byrne group. The hotel had everything and the service was very good. It was very relaxing....I can't wait to return. We were with our two year old son.

Hotel was kid friendly, pool hours for kids is 3 to 6 pm which could be longer. We stayed in the grand hotel, which worked well.

Breakfast was excellent and the child play corner is a real plus at breakfast.

We spent the New Year's holiday at the Waldhaus. We enjoy coming here every year, at various times, and we are never disappointed. True, there are several new hotels in Flims but the Waldhaus has a certain charm. It has a grand feeling. The piano player's music softly drifting over the casual yet elegant bar... the billiard table and small bar... the decor bold yet sedated... the spacious grounds punctuated by walking paths (and underground tunnels connecting the buildings for inclement weather or patrons in robes headed for the spa). And to top it off, if you have kids it is an excellent resort. The Waldhaus has a children's room and sitting service for children over 3. The cater to children in the restaurants. In the summer they have a petting zoo.

All & all, we are pleased to return each year.

Room Tip: The hotel is older so the rooms are decorated as such. Corner rooms are much more quiet.

A weekend getaway from Zurich – easily achieved with train and postbus from Chur.
We came with no plan for anything to do other than stay at the hotel, and enjoy our time there. The hotel is called the Park-hotel, and it really is situated in its own park like campus. There are walks down to the lakes, through the trees, and …if you like, down to the village.
We took a suite in the Villa Silvana, the 4 star older house – adjacent to the main building and connected to both the hotel and spa by underground tunnels. The suite was actually just a very spacious single room, with high ceilings and a large bathroom, but also with a very large and sunny balcony looking across to the mountain peaks. The décor was contemporary and the beds were very comfortable. The Villa Silvana is a little bit less expensive than the main hotel building, but we also find that it is less ostentatious compared to the “ultra-luxo” main building… and that suits us fine.
The main attraction for us was the extensive spa, with its various saunas, and a well heated indoor/outdoor pool. …as well as a well equipped exercise area. We spent a good day just hanging around, reading, bathing, steaming, and sleeping – relaxation and rejuvenation!
The breakfast in the morning is a first class affair with pretty much anything you could want, …and the service throughout is exemplary.
The Parkhotel Waldhaus is a destination unto itself, and it was easy for us to go (and stay) without feeling that we needed to spend time on the nearby slopes. All in all, a wonderful relaxing weekend away.

Room Tip: The Villa Silvana is a little bit less expensive than the main hotel building, but also less ostenta...

We have been there twice and enjoyed the great restaurant.. It's a perfect skiing weekend!!! The staff and rooms are also great, only thing is that you need to wait for the shuttle to the slopes as it's a bit far to walk..

We stayed here 2 nights before Christmas 2012, while skiing in the area.

We had a room in the Villa Silvana, which is their 4 star facility located near the main building in the beautiful park. The room was very spacious, with high ceilings and a large bathroom. There is an underground tunnel from there to the spa facilities, which comes in very handy of course. The spa itself is wonderful with its heated outdoor pool and several saunas and hammams.

We had dinner in the Rotonda (main restaurant - very good) one evening, and in the Curler's Pub the other (the only facility not quite deserving of the 5 star rating, as the chinese fondue didn't meet the quality of the food from the previous night).

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, as you would expect from this kind of place. One special perk is the free hotel shuttle to and from the ski resort, which saves the hassle of walking to and waiting for the public bus.

Overall, we spent an amazingly relaxing couple of days here, and would definitely like to come back some day.
