We are lucky to spend many holidays in Crans since many years and were thrilled when LeCrans/Restaurant Le Mont-Blanc opened, a few years ago. From early on, it was the best food experience in the region (and in price/high quality ratio), this restaurant was even better than some Michelin starred ones (that, by the way, are very good, too...).
The food was exceptional since the beginning but has reached even higher levels over the years. The menus are renewed, each season, so we enjoy going there more than once or twice a year.
The view is obviously the best in the area, west and onto the Rhone Valley, with the peaks and the villages, lit in the dark.
The room is very attractively decorated and tables are well separated.
Since July 2011, Pierre-Olivier (maître d'hôtel or assistant maître d'hôtel?) has enlightened our evenings with good humour and excellent service, making even the worst overcrowded experience of the high season (long waits for food in February 2012) acceptable.
