A lovely place to eat and enjoy. The setting is charming modern/thai/swiss. Strange but pleasant to the eye. The service is good by what appears to be ski resort standards. But the food is amazingly good. Some of the best Thai I've ever tasted. Tried the place 6 years ago. Came back for more and found it just as good. A rarity. Places often don't turn out as good as you remember them. This one does. No fog of time.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with a modern vibe. The food is excellent with a good sized menu to choose from. The two waiters, both foreign are great and really make you feel welcome. You need to reserve as there are not that many tables so it fills up on weekends. They also do take-away which I tried and turned out to be a good alternative to cooking!
One small negative point is the owner who could be a bit more welcoming: we have been quite a few times now and he still ignores us, never greeting us or saying hello. Not a show-stopper thanks to his staff as already mentioned.

The foods are cooked well but not flavorful. The spicy Thai salad was very good; the basil beef had little flavor but was at least spicy; the curried duck was better but far from great; and the fried pineapple with ice cream and honey was a nice treat. However, considering the cost of 130 CHF, that included only 2 beers for my wife and I , it seemed terribly overpriced.

We were poorly greeted at the entrance--the ponytailed staff member said, "we don't have any tables, " instead of asking for our reservations--even though we spoke French. Additionally I have never seen so many things dropped in a restaurant in my life--almost a comedy, and when used chopsticks bounced onto my leg from a waiters tray I barely received an apology---WTF. Accidents happen but . . .

Excellent Thai restaurant with great food and service. Booking in advance is essential as it gets very busy. Recommend the Thai red curry and the ginger chicken (which comes with rice). Pretty reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in Crans-Montana.
