If you want a quiet holiday at a great price, this is it. Walk to the bowls club, 50 metres. Great chinese food, barefoot bowls with the family and cold Coopers on tap. Cafe on the river not much further away and if you feel like going to the pub they will shuttle you within minutes of you phoning them.
Our families had three units booked, hosts are ultra hospitable. They put up with the in-laws yappy dogs ( more than I can take ) and make sure everything is perfect. Front deck was great for ten of us to sit back and watch the sun set over the river and have the local bird life stop by for a chat. The units are just like walking into your own home, stocked with books, enough kitchen equipment to open a restaurant, and comfortable furnishings. Only downside was a lack of a dishwasher, I would gladly pay ten bucks a day extra to not have to hand wash. One, your on holidays, two, the wine glasses we started with had a soapy flavour too them. Had to give a good rinse with boiling water.
Not much happens in Wooli, that`s why you go there. Fishing, swimming, walking, bbq`s and cold beer are what it is all about. If you do enjoy the finer side of dining, take a few supplies. The local store had the essentials, but if gourmet cooking is your style bring a couple of things from home.
