Our yearly visit to Germany brought us to Niendorf, a small town right on the Baltic Sea. While there, we had the pleasure to visit Johannsens. This has to be one of the cosiest restaurants we have seen in our travels. We came for dinner and were promptly greeted by a friendly hostess. We took the time to look around a bit and to soak in the atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant. An english menu was available which made the ordering process very easy. The steaks we ordered were cooked to perfection and even though the portions were quite big, we managed to leave room for the chocolate brownies which were delicious. Prices were very reasonable, dinner for 2 with dessert and a glass of wine for approx. 50 Euros. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly (even spoke some english). We had a great evening and will definately come back when we visit this region of Germany again.
