This is a business hotel so it's a bit cheaper at the weekends and is quite quiet. Lots of free on-site parking. It's about 10 mins walk into the town centre.
The room was on the 4th floor (next to the lift but there was absolutely no noise from the lift-shaft) and was enormous. I don't think I've been in a hotel bedroom with its own lobby before! So, loads of space to dump cases, etc. I'm not sure my photo does it justice but I was just trying to show how much space there was! The decoration was corporate-standard bland, which was fine for us! There was no air-con, but there was a fan. We didn't eat at the hotel but there was a nice bar in the lobby and there was a lovely little terrace restaurant which you could also have a drink on. The planting around the terrace was so nice that you really couldn't tell that you were just a few feet from the carpark.
Worms was a bit of a disappointment but we did find a clutch of nice Italian restaurants at the Adenaur-Ring end of the gardens which have the Luther monument in them, next to the war memorial. The Carpaccio looked quite posh and expensive but we ate at La Carbonara, which was very nice. There was also a nice bar-cafe part way up those gardens, opposite a Subway sandwich shop, called Cafe Pinel on Hardtgasse.
