I came with a few friends on a cool rainy day and had food and wine. They recommended the place because it has a good local wine selection and I was not disappointed. We had Weisser Burgunder and dry Reislings. I started with a nice salat and then the special Pfälzer Plate of Saumagen, Leberknödel & Bratwurst - great low carb fair for the meat eater. And finished with Crème brûlée and Pfälzer Weinbrand. Everything was good to very good and at reasonable prices The restaurant is divided up in to smaller rooms, all well appointed with local bricabrac. The Terrace looked very inviting had it been a sunny and warm day I could have imagined it as a pleasant quiet setting surrounded by a lovely park. As we were the only table, having arrived early on a sunday, the service was fine.
