Rheinlust is a quaint hotel right on the Rhein in Boppard. One must get a room facing the river to enjoy the view. It's a comfortable relaxing stay ideal for 1 or 2 night stay overs. The bathroom is bigger than most but there is no bath. The shower has nice pressure and good hot water. I enjoyed the mini bar fridge in particular. Dinner downstairs was tasty and there was a live musician to entertain the guests. Wifi is free and the performance is acceptable from the second floor. The trains running past the other side of the river can get loud, but once the sliding door is closed it's a lot better. All round, a very relaxing experience.

We stayed here for several nights during our 3 week European vacation. The hotel is very nice and located right along the banks of the magnificent Rhein River. The town of Boppard is a great little town for walking and shopping. It also has some great restaurants and of course lots of great wine. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is a nice place to stay at a very fair price.

Stayed here for 3 nights during the holiday season in July, in the guesthouse portion of the hotel, overlooking the parking lot.

Since the walls seem to be made of cardboard and the windows are only single-layered glass, one hears everything: from people trudging up the open stairs in the hallway, to the trains that thunder past on the other side of the river roughly every 10-15 minutes (and yes, also during nighttime).

You get what you pay for though, and all is clean and tidy.

Great value for the money, but don't book a trip here for the ultimate rest and relaxation...

We visited this on an Expat Explore Europe Jewel tour and got a room on the 3rd floor. The rooms were basic but neat. Good shower and clean sheets. Excellent included food. Couldn't complain really. If you looking for something deluxe or wanting to impress then this is not for you but if you looking for a good value spot with good food then this is it. It was frontline overlooking the river and the town is absolutely lovely and quaint.

Just spent three nights here, what to say? We had a room at the front with a balcony overlooking the Rhine, sounds idyllic right? Wrong! The furniture and fittings in the room were so old, all marked and chipped, our mattresses were so knackered you could feel each individual spring! This hotel is so tired it can barely stand! We were given an inclusive dinner package as we were staying 3 nights, ate there twice, that was once too many, coach loads of backpacker style tourists also arrive for dinner at about 7pm and proceed to Hoover up the whole buffet. Breakfast is fine (eat after the coaches have departed) usual continental style, wished they could have prepared fresh fruit rather than open a tin but hey maybe that's me. All that aside great value for money, staff all brilliant and wifi in all areas.

Room Tip: Front room in old building facing Rhine, bear in mind trains and barges run from 1st light and are q...

Lucky enough to have an amazing room location which can enjoy the nice scenery view of Rhine River from the window. Room is clean, bathroom is spacious and their dinner buffet is awesome! Location is good as it is near to the port. The only drawback is that its internet speed is way too slow. Overall is excellent.

We arrived just as the recent flooding was subsiding. Some premesis were still pumping water out of their basements and lower levels. Because of the flooding the Rhein was running very quickly and was high.

The location is probably the best thing about this hotel. Right on the river (well across the road). Try and get a room that faces it if you can. We had a nice view of another building from our window.

Rooms are small, clean and adequate. Breakfast included and was good, usual European type breakfast.

Theres not a lot of shopping etc to do in Boppart - we did a river cruise as part of our tour, some wine tasting - ICE WINE and I bought a beautiful crystal glass.

If you're waiting for a cruise or similar or just want a nice country location to chill for a few days then this hotel is a good choice.
