I have been in a Turkish restaurant in Amsterdam with Turkish food on the same level, and one in Wiesbaden - and that's it!
Others have fallen rather short of the mark.
Not so with Famagusta. What we got there was fantastic.
The Saganaki (fried Feta), the Böregi and the Padlican Kizartma (baked aubergine on youghurt dip) were all great.
If you want the normal Turkish kitchen with a lot of vegetarian dishes, you will have to stick to the starters menu. But don't worry - there's plenty to chose from.
Very friendly and good service. And strangely enough, the prices did not seem to be inflated to touristic levels. Starters from 3-9 Euro and main courses generally from 11-16 Euro (Feb 2016).
Definitely a place to come back to. And we did - we went there twice in a week, which is very unusual for us.
