“German name, Italian cuisine: nice combination, finally!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

A warm and friendly, prompt and impeccable service, Italian specialties: pizza, pasta, salads but German specialties too. Intimate, good for a romantic dinner or a business dinner. Good taste , fair prices! I will come back!

“On Mondays, they are open”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013 via mobile

In Giessen on business on Monday during end of Carnivale and wanted traditional German food. However, all the German restaurants were closed. Found this authentic Italian restaurant was open.

Had Brushetta and the Three Pasta dish. Both were very good with large pils.

Finished with tiramazu and grappo which were also very good.

Service was authentic Italian as waiter only ask if I needed something only when I got his attention. Other patrons were lively and added to atmosphere.

€24 for 2 large pils plus food mentioned

“Germans take Italian food very seriously”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2011

I have continual good luck eating Italian in Germany and this beautiful half-timbered building where Goethe ate served an excellent lunch. Service was prompt and fast, though as I watched people around me, I wish I had tried the pizza.
