I stayed here for two weeks so I had plenty of time to experience this hotel. The hotel is situated within sight of the bahnhof in Bad Soden so getting to and from Frankfurt is easy. The hotel rooms were a bit small but typical for European hotels. If you do not smoke, be sure to request a non-smoking room. The breakfast was included and was quite nice. All of the staff were nice and helpful.

The hotel was quiet and comfortable and easily seen from the station exit. The town is a hidden gem. Lovely parks with lots of fountains. It is a great start point for walks. Look on www.taunusklub.de for ideas and symbols to follow. I can recommend the pub close to the hotel in Königsteiner Strasse called zu Schänke, where we ate twice. Good German food.

Never again is absolutely right! The hotel had a lovely exterior facade but, the interior was very dated and dirty. My bedding smelled musty and the sheets were worn out with holes. The bathroom was extremely dated and the shower was clogged with hair that wasn't mine!

The hotel needs to be updated and it needs a team to clean the mold and filth that you see everywhere.

It may look quaint from the outside but, beware!

Room Tip: find another hotel

Pros:
1) Close to the Bad Soden Sud station
2) decent breakfast
3) wifi router on every floor

Cons:
1) Water problems, I had to go to a client meeting without a shower.
2) Small Rooms
3) Musty smell possibly mold
4) Single gel for shower/shampoo/everything
5) Single towel
6) No Iron Boards in some rooms
7) Small Parking garage (possibly nicks to the car due to the compact space)
8) Exorbitant pricing during the Messe.
9) Staff insists Pay for the stay in advance (so once you discover you want out you can't)
10) Get your own toothpaste / shaving kit since they will recommend the closest drugstore if you ask them.

Room Tip: find another hotel.

In all fairness to the hotel, it is my understanding that it had been closed for a while before we arrived. I was sick within 2 days of staying here from mold growing along all the corners where the floor and the walls meet. The first night I went to climb into bed, there was already hair on the sheets. I went the next day and bought my own pillow and blanket.

There is only a partial glass wall along the tub for the shower area (if you have a room with a shower/tub combo). Water goes all over the floor. I believe the beds are twin (very narrow) and low to the floor.

Internet is free, but you must get a new access code after every 24 hours of usage,

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
