A very nice park in Bavaria. If using public transport Deutsche Bahn will guide you easily. Just follow the children and be careful not to take the train to Bad Worishen. The stage will be in the middle of nowhere but you can get to the park by walking on a dirt road. All in all it costs only Euro 55 for a family of four to entry and there are rides for every age. A great day was had by all. There are also shows to see and there are great rides including the bob car.

Staying in Muncih with my teenage son and his Uncle for a mini break we had to visit an amusement park!

The park is an hour from Munich. An off peak rail ticket after 9am worked out about £7 per person (28 euros in total) and included travel on the Munich S Bahn. The hourly train service requires you to change once and drops you off at a station halt at the edge of a farmers field! You can see the theme park but it does feel a bit strange walking along a sign posted old farm track!!

Entry was £15 (19 euros) and this included all rides. The park is a strange mix of old rides and some ultra modern rides. The vertical which takes you straight up and into a corkscrew and releases you being the highlight ( I thought G force at Drayton Manor couln't be topped!). As you walk through the park you pass some small quirky park rides suitable for toddlers (I have 2 who stayed at home). There are a variety of rides for all ages from toddlers up to white knucke thrills.
However family is the theme. When we visited it was German term time so it was mainly school trips. However unlike the Englsh Parks of Drayton Manor/Alton Towers the park is not saturated. At peak times you could still pretty much walk onto most rides, as the day progressed you even got 2 turns on each ride.
The park may be to tame for some, but where else are you going to find a quirkly collection of rides (some very interesting Deutcheland engineering noted on some rides) which appear to be constantly updated, for only £15 entry, and Ice creams for only 1 euro!! A hidden gem which has to be visited!

Only gripe no water fountains to refill your water bottles!

If you are looking for the high adrenaline rides, the Skyline Park will be the wrong place but for families with children or teenagers it is a fun place to spend some hours.

The price and the quality of the food and drinks are average for an amusement park. The lines in front of the rides are sometimes (weekends or during public holidays) are very long (20-40 min).

Unfortunately there are only a few bathrooms in the park and the lines in front of them sometimes long (5-10 min)

Being regular UK theme park visitors we decided to make a visit to the Skyline Park whilst staying in Ottobeuren. This park is just brilliant - maybe it was the day we visited (it was a hot August Tuesday), but the park was not busy at all so most rides involved at most a 10 minute wait.

The park is not ultra-modern but it is serious fun. It has some pretty intense rides for those that want to have some adrenaline and some great rides for the family (we went with a 1, 7 and 9 year old).

Much laughter was had on some of the rides and the fact some are not attended by helpers made the park even more amusing (considering even a bumpy slide in the UK has to have a couple of workers to ensure safety). This is good old fashioned, no nonsense fun.
