It is more like a bed and breakfast place that you find in the UK. We had rooms which are furnished in what can only be described as eclectic manner. We had an awful pastel mural covering one wall of the local scenery and fake Greek plinths as a TV stand. The rooms have separate WC and bathroom that has a shower and no bath. We did have spectacular view of the mountains and castles especially at night when one is lit up.
The breakfasts were superb but the main meals tended to be very similar. The vegetarian food was not good and the meat eaters said that theirs was not much better. There is a much better eating venue across the road at a local tavern.
The hotel does offer free use of bikes which is excellent for touring local sites.
One aspect that disappointed me slightly was that from the brochure it appears that this place is located in the countryside. It is not. It is in the middle of village which must be said is charming.
