Family run hotel, prefectly located near famous castles not far from Fuessen. Good breakfast, tasty food by menu. Very friendly owners, it feels like home. They gave us a card for free bus around the area. Tidy and clean.

Stayed here a couple of times now, and cannot fault this hotel, excellent food and the people were really friendly and they also spoke English too, brilliant location for the castles too (walking distance), and a short ride to the main town

would recommend this hotel for price food and location

Room Tip: all rooms were excellent

A very good family hotel, really near to Neuschwanstein castle. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer very comfortable rooms, a very good breakfast and a very nice restaurant. A very good choice for people who travel with babies.

We stopped by at Schwangau on our way to the Black Forest from Munich when we came across this hotel by chance. The Waldmann Hotel experience was the warmest we have had in Germany. The family members who run this hotel are really very helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations on site seeing and activities in the area like Fussen, the castles and the German alps..all within 10 mins drive from the hotel. The food in the restaurant is also really delicious especially the venison goulash and the apple strudel. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We were so happy here that we decided to extend our stay. Would certainly recommend staying at this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for the family room if you are a family of 3 or 4.

To wake up and go to the balcony and see Neuschwanstein castle all nestled in the snow covered Alps, was truly stunning. The highlight of our Europe trip. And the food and service was exactly what we needed.
