We stayed here for one night to visit the castle near by. This is a great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of homemade produce offering great variety.

Staff recommended a local restaurant, which was served excellent German food and we also made the trip to the local beer hall on their recommendation which was good fun.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, recommending places to go and time to visit the castle, parking and then also suggesting Alpine passes on our way to Italy, the Timmelsjoch pass was excellent so thank you again. Silver Porsche Cayman.

It was a long day of touring and it was late when we (three couples) arrived at Hannah's small hotel. They had taped an envelope with our room keys to the door and we felt right at home as we climbed the stairs to our clean, comfortable rooms in this little village! We went to a local brew house for dinner and then for a long walk in the countryside with the lighted castles looking over us. Breakfast was to die for! Almost everything had been ho-made by Hannah and her daughter. Charm and authenticity!

Room tip: On the back is good as it is a busy street - however, there is very little traffic after bedtime!

Arrived on a really rainy day, and immediately made comfortable and welcome. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Some rooms have a view of the castles, but even if you haven't, you only need to walk down the lane and they're right in front of you. Exceptional breakfast, a huge choice, and beautifully prepared. Excellent value.

We had asked for a large bed and this meant we were given a top room with a view of the two castles. There was a balcony and the bathroom even had a jacuzzi! Wish we had stayed more than one night! The breakfast was amazing, home made bread, so many different teas and very friendly staff.

Room tip: Ask for a view of the castles!

Very quaint and charming hotel! We stayed 2 nights with our 2 young daughters. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for a family of 4. The balcony even had a partial view of Neuschwanstein Castle. Our room was located on the front of the hotel so the street noise could be a little loud with the windows open but it did not bother us. The staff were very friendly and offered great advice about the local attractions. We appreciated their opinion on when to visit the castles to avoid the long lines. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the castles and Fussen is only a few minutes away. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner with no trouble. The restaurant across the street was so good that we ended up eating 2 meals there. The front desk also recommended a local brewery that was delicious as well. The breakfast at this hotel was amazing and should not be missed. I loved the different china that was used. There was a huge variety of food to make even the pickiest eaters happy. The homemade marmalades were my favorite. We loved this hotel and the staff. We hope to return one day and would recommend to anyone traveling to this area.
