We had an unexpected treat after mass at the Cathedral to walk out to the Easter market. The market is a closed to cars street. Walking the market in this clean city is such an experience. All the Easter decorations were festive. At the top of the street is a carousel for the kiddies, then meandering down the street were grand food booths. I loved the brick oven booth, we tasted a flat bread with potatoes. The loaf bread was also coming out of the oven. There were cheese and meat vendors to taste and cold beer. A few shops lining the market were open on this holiday, my favorite, the bakery. Yum. At the end of the street, we crossed the very clean river. I would love to see their Christmas market. A beautiful Bavarian town.
