I was cautious about visiting after these reviews(as I was travelling with school) but when I got there I loved it.The room was lovely and you could see everything from the balcony,a seating area and a working tv were included.Beds were very comfy and enough space for everything.Very clean and very nice people.Food was great(if you're willing to try German culture(if not,you have to ask why your visiting) and a short distance away from titisee and triberg.Five days was too short!

Great place to chill out. Float in a rented wooden rowboat(dont forget to carry a bottele or two of wine). Laze around in the lakeside cafe's. Swim, if you can tolerate the really (too much for us Indians) cold water. Trek in the surrounding black forest region. Worthy day trip from Freiburg.

Very nice lake, sweet town, good location for exploring the Black Forest area. We bought a cuckoo clock that was made right in town (the larger part of town about 5 min drive away), loved the vibe here.

45 minutes by train away from Freiburg.With 10 E you can visit lake Titisse in South of black forest and hike for about 7 km around the lake.Nice view,inside high trees by the lake.Hopefully it didnt rain when i was there. the village is also very cute
