We spent 3 nights at this hotel during February 2013, it was great.
We ordered the 3 room apartment (one big room, smaller room and living room); the big room was very comfortable with a lot of space, the smaller room is fine for kids.
There is a great view from this hotel – from the breakfast room you can see a nice view of this quiet town, and even though our room was not facing the nice view of Bad Herrenalb, there was nice view from the rooms.
The owners of this hotel – The Lacher Family, are wonderful people, they had answer to every question we asked them and they offered us a lot of information and things to do during our stay there. They always had a smile on their face; I can certainly say that they walked the extra mile.
In one of the mornings we went for a walk in the forest, a very nice trail (that was suggested by the Lacher Family of course) walking distance from the hotel, excellent to people who want to spend a few hours quietly.
Bad Herrenalb is a small place and it's not easy to find a restaurant after 21:00 so it's better to have earlier dinner.
We had a wonderful experience there and I hope to go back there next year.
