It was a late hour and we needed a room with wifi. We chose a 4 star hotel which was more expensive then those with 2/3 stars or with a less attractive location, but we expected wifi reception to be basic enough (even in much simpler hotels it was never an issue).
Of course we had to read the small lines more carefully before booking because it was written that not all rooms have wifi reception. When we arrived to the hotel we were offered to upgrade to a suite which had wifi ,but the idea of paying extra 70 euros per night for wifi reception when there is no need in a more fancy room is ridiculous.
Other then that the hotel seems nice, the room was unnecessarily big for two people, and the host was very nice (but in comparison to other hotels we visited in the Black Forest the price we paid without upgrading to a suite with wifi wasn't justified).
Notice that the simpler rooms are at a separate building and there is a high staircase without elevator, so luggage carrying is not easy. More
