The hotel is garded as 4 superior hotel and I wonder why.
We were 3 adults and got a very small room with stairs to the third person. My son couldn't stand since the ceiling was very low. The room of my husband and me was so small that at night when he wanted to go to the toilet he had to wake me up. He was sleeping near the wall
The room price for night was 300 dollars and we couldn't sleep or stay in it since it was very hot.(outside tempraure was 34 degrees less than our room).I wonder how it is possible to have a four superior hotel withot aircondition. The vacation was a nightmare.

Dear guest,

thanks a lot for your comment and your time. The heat of the last weeks was an absolutely unusal weather experience in these latitudes. We had never bevor the situation that the grass on the lake was burned by the sun and we had in total more than 10 weeks without rain. These conditions have been a large burden for all members of staff as well. Unfortunately we do not have an air-conditioning which would also be a fact that sabotages our green philosophy .

In any case we would like to appologise for all the inconvenience caused!

With best regards

Everything as expected, but had a bad luck for the room location - just in front of restaurant with wedding parties. The hotel knew about the problem, therefore we found in the evening earplugs on the bed - instead of providing us more distant room. Tightly closed windows in this hot summer made from the room with no air-conditioning small torture.

Unfortunately, we had only planned one night at this fabulous hotel.

We came before the normal check in time, but they urged to clean our room. The staff really went the extra mile to help us when needed.

Room no. 55 (deluxe double) was amazing; Spacious with luxurious details and a quaint touch - as the rest of the hotel in general. A shared balcony with the neighbours, overlooking the pool area.

For our next trip to Senftenberg, we’ll definitely book this hotel again.

We didn’t have A/C in our room, so I guess that goes for the rest of the rooms. Not a big problem, but we would have turned it on if possible.

Our flight were delayed, so we called the Wellnesshotel Seeschlosschen for a key arrangement, as we could not make it before the reception closed. When we arrived at 1:00AM, the key were not to be found at the agreed spot. We tried to call the hotel multiple times for help or suggestions and then spend another 30 minutes trying to rule out possible locations, where the key might have been placed - without luck. The rest of this first night we slept in our rental car at the parking lot. Ín the morning we found out, that the key where still on the reception desk.

During our three day stay we were not approached by any hotel manager, and at checkout we therefore argued, that we would not pay for a nights sleep in our car. We were told to contact our hotel agency as the stay where not arranged directly through the hotel. They did offer two wellness treatments for free, which we took, but as the value were below the the price of one night “in a car”, we did inform them, that we would contact our hotel agency for a refund when back home. When our agency called the hotel to confirm that he was eligible to give us a one night refund the hotel manager denied as we had accepted the wellness treatments as compensation. This was not the case and by no mean a reasonable compensation for a uncomfortable, unnecessary “camp in your car experience”. Their handling of this situation leaves us with no other option than giving them the lowest rating for a situation they could easily have avoided.

The hotel is located directly at a lake.
There's enough parking space for the guests.
Check-in was extremely lovely. The lady explained everything and showed the ways to restaurant, room and Spa area.

The room I had was accessible from outside what was very comfortable due to the number of suite cases I had to bring from the car to the room.
The room itself had a curios design but everything was clean. Very soon the mattress needs to be exchanged!

Towels and bathrobes as well as a bag and slipper for the Spa are available in the room. The quality is excellent!

In the Spa area you find different kinds of Sauna, one indoor and one outdoor pool, a bar and a lot of very comfortable places to sit or lay down. Cozy blankets are available on every sofa or lounger.

Sauna is shout down at 8pm while the Spa area is opened until 11pm.

You can leave your belongings in a locker in a clean changing room.

A very good breakfast is served at 7am. Unfortunately I didn't had the time to enjoy that a little longer, but the food I had was great.

Check-out was similar to check-in. Fast but absolutely friendly.

I'll try to come back soon.
Thanks for the good service and nice conversations.
