This place was a bit hard to find as we drove into town, but once we found it, we were delighted with it. The owner/manager, Peter, spoke fairly good English, and showed us to our very spacious room with balcony. Unfortunately it was too cool to sit out that day. Peter suggested Weinstube Weber am Bach for dinner, and it was wonderful - maybe the best meal we had on the German part of our trip. Pension Erb is right in the historic centre, and very well priced for that location. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Very close to main square, quiet location.Spacious room with balcony, spotlessly clean, very warm and cosy.Web site said contintental breakfast,it was much more than that : plate of cold meats and cheeses, bread basket with amazing selection of fresh breads and home made jam.Fresh fruit salad ,fresh sliced pineapple, wonderful poached apple slices, a Ferrero Rocher chocolate at each place setting. There are steep stairs but I would definitely stay there again.

Like the other reviewers already said; it really is very central. In fact, any more central and you'd be right in the town square!
The guy a reception (the owner?) was very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and very comfortable. Really warm, cosy blankets!
Only downside; not much choice at breakfast. Tasty though, but nothing unusual.
Although it was so centrally located, it was increadibly quiet. I'm a very light sleeper, but even I slept through without any disturbances.
Would definatly recommend it to anyone.

We found this a very pleasant pension, although we had a little difficulty finding it as there was a local market in full flow & this confused us. However the pension is almost a stones throw to the main square.
We stayed in room 10 which was 3 flights of stairs up but with a very large balcony, the rooms were spotless with the most wonderfull beds & the duvets were so sumptuous.

At breakfast peter lights a candle for you at your table. The breakfast consists of a selection of fresh bread, muesli, cheese, ham, fresh fruit and a tasty jug of coffee.ENJOY!!

This pension is located on a pedestrianised riverside path which is also only a minute's walk from the town's square. A perfect location to explore this pretty little town.

The rooms are comfortable with up to date en suite facilities. Everything is spotless and well presented. The hosts are friendly and there is a good choice of cold buffet breakfast food and delicious home made jam! Eggs will be served on request. In summary, a perfect place to relax whether it be long or short stay.
