“inaccessible and barricated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2011

When we visited it was inaccessible and barricated (guess due to extermination of bugs). Founded in 1629 as a Jesuit Gymnasium. Built in 1662-1664, style attributes of late Renaissance and early Baroque. 1961-1962 Northern construction. Decoration: at the second floor the in 1963 restored Auditorium, former congregation Hall, with ceiling frescoes (Innozenz Anton Warathi) and 1730-1735 rich stucco (concert hall). At the foot of the building at the Foundation at the Salzach side flood-marks.
