It's so good we ate there two nights in row! We normally don't repeat restaurants while on holiday -- unless it's really good. Munzenberger is outstanding! They serve a combination of Eastern European and German food. We loved everything we had there. Good thing we stopped by in the afternoon of day 2 to make a reservation as every table was full when we arrived to our reserved table outside! Night one we ate inside as it had rained pretty hard that afternoon. Nice interior. The food was outstanding. So good that we'd already made the decision we were returning the next night -- our last night of holiday. Next night we ate outside as the rain was gone and the temps had gotten higher again. Our waiter was harried night two as the restaurant was packed. Food took longer than the night before but that wasn't a problem. It was worth every minute's wait. Their goulash (Kwarma kebab) was so, so good! My wife had that on night one; I had it on night two! I also had Soljanka, a Ukranian goulash-like soup. Mmm!
Without a doubt, we will visit Munzenberger Klause whenever we visit Quedlinburg in the future. This is a star restaurant with outstanding food and very reasonable prices (10-15 Euro per meal). We love this place!
