“very good, but not spectacular”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

Perhaps we just don’t appreciate German cuisine, but we find most German restaurants good or very good, but only a few that really knock your socks off. 'Die Worth' restaurant in the Hotel Kaiserworth fits that bill: a nice restaurant with good or very good food, but not the blissful dining experience one hopes for. We had carrot & asparagus soup + poached trout ("really good"); and cream of potato soup (very good) & roast wild boar with rotkohl & potato dumplings (OK). I doubt you’ll be disappointed eating here.

“Unfortunate”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

From reading the reviews from other trip advisers we seem to have a rare experience. The pork fillet which I received was well overcooked and the rosti my wife was served was dripping with fat. We complained to the very charming waitress who conveyed the comment to the 'chef'. The same 'chef' decided it was appropriate to tour the restaurant to accept compliments - odd that he avoided our table! If you want perfectly served, expensive average food, visit this establishment.

The food was very good but pricey. More formal. Great breakfast.

“Authentic and adventurous options!”
Reviewed November 17, 2011

Lots of options for those who feel like being a little more adventurous - duck, venison, lamb and wild boar on the menu. Their private library room was a wonderful setting for a client dinner. The crowning moment was when the crepes were prepared tableside! Now that's what I call service.

“One of the best restaurants I visited in Germany”
Reviewed August 4, 2011

I had the steak and strawberries flambee for dessert. It was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. I can't say enough good things. I would love to go there again!
