Stayed at the Ramada Baren for 3 nights, as part of a Just Go holiday, can,t complain at all, the room was fine, with coffee making available in the room. The food was good and varied, and the staff were helpful & friendly. It is a way away from Goslar central, but as we were travelling around this didn,t matter, it was somewhere to crash after a long day out. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of a coach trip so we did not choose this hotel but it was very good. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The buffet meals were very good with lots of choice. The rooms where clean and ok but we found that the pillows were poor as they were lumpy and yet too soft. The position is peaceful but 15mins walk away from town centre which was not a problem for us but maybe for other guests. We were surprised that we could not exchange currency at the hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was on the first floor and it was above a passage way to the kitchen area and there was som...

Is a very good hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. Good services by the reception. We had dinner included from our trip broker. Buffet in German style. 2 main courses and possible vegetrarian course. Al in all very good. There was a 30 min work to central square in the old part of Goslar city.

Room Tip: Try to get a room toward the east to avoid sun in the evening. Because no aricondition.

Room 34 is in the Reception Lobby. The television just outside the door is on very loud until 10ish and the people have to shout above it to be heard. The cleaner is there to wake you every morning before 06.30. So both ends of the day sleep is elusive. Added to the fact the night porter smokes in the lobby and the smoke does filter under the door usually between 03.00 - 04.30.

DO NOT GET A GROUND FLOOR ROOM

Room Tip: Don't accept a room on the ground floor.

Good rooms but no coffee making facilities. You can hire a kettle for 10 euros (refunded on return) if you have your own cups and supplies. Buffet evening meal is very good with a vegetarian selection but in a rather confined space. Breakfast is excellent with a very varied assortment of food. A brisk 20 minute walk takes you into the centre of Goslar where you will find many picturesque buildings. Reception staff could improve their customer care manner.

Stayed for 3 nights on a just Go Coach holiday. Very comfortable room, superb sauna facilities, swimming pool spoiled by rowdy children. Meals included but on no occasion was there any provision for vegetarians. (Thank goodness for cheese on the buffet!)

Stayed at the Ramada Hotel Baren Goslar as part of a Tour Group from Scotland. Had been to this Hotel before and found that rooms and facilities were as good as previous visits. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Meals on offer gave an excellent choice and served in pleasant surroundings. The Hotel is well placed in a lovely residential area with an easy bus run or 6 euro taxi run to town centre. There is an excellent little cafe over the road and also a well stocked Garden Centre which provided excellent gifts to take home. Further down the road was an excellent and very friendly Pub (Hubertus Eck).

Goslar is on an excellent road network with good public transport to surrounding areas. All in all a fantastic place to go on holiday with historic buildings but not an over commercialised Town.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be good. Many have balconies but with little traffic noise the only real choice w...
