We arrived at about 5:30 on a Friday night. We were the first dinner customers to arrive. The staff was friendly, spoke some English as well as German and Italian. The three of us, my two young children and I, each ordered a plate of pasta. My penne Gorgonzola was to die for and the children's spaghetti bolognese arrived piled on the plate like a giant mountain. My children could not believe the size of their meals and their pasta was also very good. The restaurant provided a basket of pizza brot while we waited for our meals and that was thoughtful. While not an inexpensive pizzeria by American Standards it is very reasonably priced for Europe. This is especially considering that Konstanz is right on the Swiss border, where a Coke almost anywhere will run you at least €5. Our meal with a small tip was €40 and included 3 giant, awesome plates of pasta, a small mixed salad and 3 half liter carafes of mineral water. We would eat here again and recommend to anyone looking for a delicious, casual place to eat.
