A 20 minute walk or short drive into St Merryn.
Pasties in bakery and village shop opposite both excellent and 2 great pubs in St Merryn. Many walking tracks and cycling opportunities from the cottage. Amazing beaches all around the nearby coast. Tryarnon was a favourite as we could easily access the beach with elderly parent. Coastal pathway for walking the coast and Camel trail for bikes fantastic.
Padstow is busy but the lobster hatchery was great with adjacent parking.
Waddles, our cottage would sleep 5 and would suit all ages. There is a children's play area and a small duck pond.
Waddles is a traditional stone built Cornish cottage near the village of St Merryn.
My husband, daughter (3) and I found it to be the perfect setting for our family holiday. It may not have the newest decor but it has a rustic charm and is comfortable and very well equipped - there wasn't anything we needed Waddles didn't have. A special note goes to the world's comfiest sofas!
David, who owns all the cottages on Rosken Farm, couldn't have been more helpful and we will definitely be going back.
