My biggest fear was that the place would be heaving or too commercial - but they have it exactly right.
Go early and do the mine first as it is best experienced in a small group.
Tea shop is the best place to eat - though fish and chips looked good and was popular!!
Lots to be nostalgic about and some stuff you genuinely didn't know!
Best for children 9 - 12 I would say, with a bit of background knowledge - well until the new history curriculum comes in!!!!!
