This is one of the underground city that you must try to visit if you come to Cappadocia. Every underground city is unique. This one you can see the kitchen, the various storage holes for wine, grapes, wheat and even toilets. You get into 55 metres underground and the temperature is kept between 14 °C to 15 °C . It is a tour you can't miss.

The lights are bright enough for photos though many spots require you to bend down or squeeze yourself to go through. Take note if you are a tall person as it is not easy to move through some passage ways.

The visit is very interesting (only 4 floors below are opened for visits as opposed to 8 floors in total).

The underground city is really amazing. See the intelligence and wisdom of the people in the past! The city have kitchen, living rooms, winery, food storage, etc. The whole city is like a maze though, so it would be safer and more enjoyable if you have a knowledgeable guide with you. In some parts of the city, you will need to crouch down to move on but it is such a great experience! Be very careful of your head and watch your way and you will definitely enjoy yourself. I felt like a rabbit though when i came out from the underground city! ( in a good way, I must say) A must see if you visit Turkiye!! ^^

Ask for Mustafa! He gave us a reasonable price and was open to questions. He explained the history clearly and gave a good variety of examples.

The underground city is exactly what it is going 45 meters underground with different floor levels! It moves from room to room with bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, stores, intercom holes, winery, traps, heavy stone doors and quiet well thought out. A must see!
