“Good food but there's better out there”

Having eaten here several times now, I've found the food to be good but never brilliant. Pad Thai, Green Chicken Curry, Red Curry - all the usual fare that you'd expect at a Thai Restaurant. Tastes good but frankly, there are much better restaurants out there. I keep going because it's convenient.
But, the portions are generous, the water glasses do my head in as they don't have a flat base and wobble which is amusing. Food is always prepared quickly and the coffee I always get when I leave is very good.
Staff are ho hum - don't look very happy and don't seem to remember that I've been there 6 times in 6 months.
The location is good if you're going to The Astor Theatre and Windsor Station is across the road.
Will keep going back but will also see if there is something else not far away that I can try too.

Had fishcakes, they were hard, not fresh, must have been cooked few times and heat up in microwave when needed. Tom yam soup tasted like sugary water and the seafood and veg in the soup wasn't fresh. Glad we didn't order much.

First time here.
Had the fish cakes, they were ok.
Had the Tom Kha Gai for soup. There was not a lot of filling in the soup and it was just a bit on the bland side. It lacked the big flavours in a Tom Kha, just too coconutty.
For main i had the masaman curry. This was a big letdown. The Potato used were wedges and tasted like roast leftovers thrown in. The beef was cut into oversize chunks and tookon no flavour of the curry and the curry itself was nothing like any masaman i've had.
Overall i'd not recommend the place even though the staff are nice, the food doesn't cut it.

This restaurant was recommended to me & I'm so happy it was as the food was delicious & the service excellent!! I went with a group of friends for dinner before going to the movie Les Miserable at The Astor theatre. We could park our cars in the nearby parking lot & walk to both the restaurant & theatre.
