Three years ago we found this restaurant by accident, luckily I had noted the address so that this trip we could find it again. The last time we went in May and sat outside on the terrace. The smell of the flowers was intoxicating and the view was spectacular. The chef came out to pick the herbs for our meal.
This time the weather did not cooperate, so we ate inside. Not quite the magical atmosphere as before, but the food lived up to the memory. The pasta was so fine - not the dense stuff we are used to, but light and delicous. I followed with quail and my husband had duck. Both of us loved our lunch.

A little hidden and parking is tough, but once you drop down the stairs, you are into an intimate and truly Italian setting. Simple fresh menu, tasteful decor and patrons that are there for a reason. We sat outside in a perfect patio setting and stayed 4+ hours. Nuff' said.

Great experience. We ate there for lunch two days in a row. The family who own the restaurant were so helpful and kind. We had a great view of Tuscan scenery while eating on the patio. Enjoyed their wine so much we bought a few bottles for home. The food was superb. We had wonderful and unusual soups

Been there twice in September, the season of funghi porcini! Delicious, both the food and the wines. The second time I even had a "repetir"! Best pasta we ever had in Italy! Grazie Davide!
