Three of us went for a meal here and wondered why the bad reviews. First impressions always for me are the toilets - they tell you an awful lot about standards of hygiene, the level of investment in a restaurant and how much they care about their customers. Here the toilets are first class, they are contemporary in design so must have been updated fairly recently and were not just clean, they smelled clean too. The restaurant itself is very nice, tasteful, contemporary and welcoming. The room would make an excellent function room for a big party or wedding and has a bar tucked into the corner. The level of service was good and the waiting staff friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. The food was good, especially the lamb tikka starter which was very tender and the naans and chappatis really good. The curries were good, my daughter doesn't normally have something as spicy as a dhansak, but she really enjoyed hers as it was spicy without being chilli hot. Overall a very pleasant experience and we will be back.
