We were in the neighborhood to go to the Le Mans Musee. We got there late and needed a place to stay. Fortunately, TripAdvisor showed us this place. As we arrived in the off season, they had rooms available. The rooms are built into an old barn, and before you jump to conclusions, this "Barn" took the owner two years to build to modern perfection! The rooms are smaller and understated. They are thoughfully designed and country in taste. All unique, functional, CLEAN, warm and very quiet. Charming I would say. Each has it's own bathroom. Breakfast is French delicious and prepared fresh, and served in a seperate building on the property. If you wish, the lower floor of the "Barn" has a seperate kitchen and seating area that is available(country style) that you can prepare your own foods in. If staying with friends or family this is a great option. The location is 5 minutes from the Le Mans town center, and is located in a very quite residential setting. Just a bit hard to find, but worth every effort. If coming in season, I would recommend booking in advance. AMAZING!

Room Tip: All rooms are wonderful. We had two. One for the daughters and one for us! More romantic that way....IT'S FRANCE!!!!

Made a nice change from the autoroute hotels. Very warm welcome from Pierre who gave us a map of the area for parking/eating out in the old part of Le Mans. Can't fault the accommodation and breakfast and the surroundings were very peaceful - even saw a red squirrel!

Had never been to Le Mans before so was pleasantly surprised to find the old part of the town. We only had an overnight stop but would like to come back and spend more time there in the future.

Beats all the usual stop over "budget" hotels. Rooms tastefully furnished spotlessly clean. Warmly welcomed on arrival by Pierre and given a full overview of facilities and what to do on the evening in Le Mans.
did find the breakfast a little sparse for Euro9 per head but the quality of the home made produce made up for the shortfall in variety.
in summary worth the stop as it is not far off the main areas but blissfully quiet with secured gated parking.

A pleasant surprise, very rural and peaceful yet easy to find and only 10 minutes from the old part of Mans. Room most comfortable with ensuite shower room and separate toilet. A kettle is provided in the room with coffee and tea plus there is a kitchenette downstairs with microwave. Very friendly and welcoming host who provided useful information on local restaurants etc. Recommended, we will return

What a find! A quietly understated luxury barn conversion; tastefully decorated with excellent facilities. Only 3 miles from the old town (and what a great recommendation (Fue de Roy?) to eat). Breakfast was especially noteworthy. Wide selection of food and drinks. Home made produce very welcome. Great ambiance in the "orangery". Secure parking appreciated. Welcome was very friendly. Highly recommended especially as an en route stop.
