This was the first tribute night that we have been to and it won't be our last. Great value for money. Lovely meal, great music from the DJ and professional entertainment from Take This - 4 young talented singers from Glasgow. It was so good we have already booked and paid our tickets for the next tribute night - The Blues Brothers- on 31st May - will be a great night again I'm sure. Management and staff were very attentive and a credit to Holiday Inn. Special mention to Ebony and the Events team for organising it all - a terrific job.

Alison Swanson and party

Room Tip: Book early for the tribute nights to avoid disappointment before the places have all gone.

Heard some great things about the Sunday buffet, on our first visit to the premises we can confirm that the buffet was indeed very good. Good choice form 3 different roasts, well cooked, pleasant service from the friendly staff. Would I go go back certainly and would highly recommend especially as the buffet is priced at under £10,great value.

Dear Aberdeenvoyager
Yes, the rumours are true. We do have a fantastic carvery and in my opinion th best in the area. (I have tried all the others myself - even in other cities) Anyway, I'm bound to say that, but I honestly can't find a better offering quality, value and kids eating free.
Thank you for trying us, I am sure you will be back - and for taking the time to share with others.

Kind regards

This night was booked as a "Free Night Stay" under the IHG Priority Club but on arrival it was showing up as an £80 charge. The receptionist said they would check it out in the morning.

On checking out the reservation was still showing up as an £80 charge but on showing duty manager our emailed confirmation she put the night through as a free night stay.

None of the aforementioned was the fault of the hotel but it is part of the Priority Club And would be good if the Priority Club could get their act together and give hotels correct information as I had THREE seperate attempts at claiming ths free night before they finally said it was showing on their system.

I stay here quite often and always think it is one of the better Holiday Inns, this is however also evident in their overnight charges, although it is often possible to get some good deals especially at weekends.

Breakfast is always very good and plenty choice. I have also eaten in the main Restaurant and the food there was also excellent.

Staff generally polite and helpful.

We had a 60th Birthday party in the Balmoral Suite in March 2013. The organisation was excellent and sorted everything out for us. The night turned out very good and all the guests were impressed. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us, the food was good, the room decorations provided by the hotel were great and the guest who stayed at the hotel were happy. There was a few mistakes with the buffet, the TV wasn't working and small things like that but overall it was fab and definetly recommended!

Excellent staff, food, bed and bathroom. Everything very clean. Staff really helpful and kind. 2 good restaurants, one nice pub. The only thing could be a down for someone is the location 20 min driving to the center, but i was there on business so was good location for me, close to my company.

The hotel is excellent for Business in the Westhill area.
The reception is always helpfull and polite with an air of efficiency one comes to expect from this Hotel.
The rooms are of their usual high standard for the Holiday Inn. Ice making facilities in the corridor, and extra pillows and ironing board in the wardrobe.
Am afraid is usual money pinching service when it comes to WiFi connection, steep charges for a service provided free in corner street coffee shops and railway stations! I wish the chain would learn that these little money pincher points go a long way to destroying the carefully crafted good will the Hotel works so hard to cultivate.
Good sleep and excellent air conditioning facilities if required.
Breakfast is very good with full choice, can be a little restricted for the Diabetic but otherwise very good, fresh fruit, cereal and cooked.
The evening meal was of a good standard but beware, lighting is quite dim so do not forget glasses when it comes to trying to read the menu.
Noted the gym facilities but was not up to a work out.
If you do not fancy eating in the Hotel there are facilities across the road, Thai, Chinese, Pizza Italian and Indian, really spoilt for choice.
Is well placed for public transport with X17 bus service stopping opposite the Hotel, with a bus every 10 minutes during daytime.
Overall very good save money pinching WiFi connection charge!

Service was fast and efficient, with staff very attentive. Starters of garlic mushrooms, very good, meat balls were OK. The spaghetti bolognese was OK but try something else on the menu as it didn't rip up trees for me. The salmon with salsa verde that my wife had was excellent. We thought the food was good value for money

Room Tip: didn't stay, only found the restaurant on the sat nav. looked very clean and tidy. We would go t...
