We stayed with Dominique and Marie-Jose during September 2012 and found the welcome to be charming and sincere. They successfully tread the line between friendly and professional with tact and humour. We will stay again when, hopefully, the weather will be a little kinder and we will be able to see the views of the surprisingly good golf course just up the road at Correncon-en-Vercors. We also intend to return for the skiing.
The food was good, wholesome and regional. The rooms, although not huge, are chalet-like, well appointed and recently refurbished. There is no noise from the road as the hotel lies about 200 yards off the "main" road. They supply free wi-fi, which was very useful.
The other guests were cyclists, touring motor cyclists, and other active visitors to the beautiful Vercors valley. All were friendly and good company.
As a little note, I left my prescription sunglasses behind, and they have been returned by post to the UK. Offering to repay the expenses, they replied: either send the payment or wait until we return one day. Can't imagine such a kind response from a larger hotel.More
