During a recent ski visit to glorious Tignes, we became regulars for a mid-morning chocolate adjacent to the main ski area in town. Lovely couple running the tiny establishment and a warm and personal greeting for any person coming through the doors.
Drinks were a little less expensive than other local places and lunch featured Italian comfort foods: ciabatta, panini, pizza and with a more local slant: a delicious quiche lorraine made on the day I visited for lunch.
Everybody squeezes into this lovely place for the food and atmosphere - so be ready to share tables with strangers with similar tastes! One to return to. Grazie to our hosts!
