Our group went here on the recommendation of our rep, and weren't disappointed. Great ambiance and service, and the Savoyard specialities we had (Tartiflette and various types of Fondue, including an interesting cider variant) were perhaps the best we have had. Combined with excellent wine and a very interesting amuse-bouche, this is definitely somewhere I would recommend to anyone in Tignes.

Chose the restaurant from the reviews on Tripadvisor. Well worth it. Lovely setting, interior charming and the service was 'tres gentil'. We could not have been made to feel more welcome.. There were specialties of the area including fondue 16.5 euros, fondue fermiere (ie with charcuterie) 19 euros, tartiflette, a 5 course fixed menus (30 euros) and an a la carte menu. Pudding was gorgeous (the cafe gourmande included coffee and 4 small versions of the puddings on the menu at 8 euros). We can't wait to return.

Why travel to Tignes with all the great restaurants in Val D Isere? Then go back again.....Simple, the food is awesome as well as the help. I waddled out of there both nights. Fondue, local pasta in melted cheese, roasted duck and great beef. The room is a little cramped but very pretty and traditional with wood floors, lots of stone and a small fireplace. As far as traditional meals go, certainly in my top 10 in the Alps which says a lot. Oh, and I forgot to mention the escargot. Great for large groups, families or an intimate night out. Can't wait to get back

The food and service was great. Really friendly staff who are willing to help and the food was lovely. Me and my party had the plate of the day which was an amazing rustic dish, served up in generous portions with lovely wine. Will certainly go again when next in the area.
