Cracking little restaurant in the heart of Tignes. Legendary chef with first class service all round. Made us all very welcome. Perfect end to holiday. Tres bien.

“Small but makes the most of it”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

We have eaten here now for the last 3 yrs and the food has always been excellent. How it's put together in that small kitchen I have no idea. Eaten pretty much all over Tignes and this place is by far the best.

Yes choices are limited to 2-3 per course but there is something for everyone. There where 16 of us this year and the food came out in good time and well presented.

The choice of wine is good and the prices far better than the other restaurants of this standard in the resort.

For those who think its a little small I think there are plans a foot to move to bigger premises next season

“Gastronomic delight from a tiny kitchen in Tignes - incontornable”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

We return again and again. Thierry masterminds the menus and his sous chefs, who come from all over to learn,as well as managing everything on the night from front of house. He welcomes everyone with a beaming smile. The kitchen is miniscule at the back of the restaurant in full view..they work exceptinally hard to accommodate the 25 covers on the 8 tables or more as there is great demand and often 2 sittings per table, but Thierry never rushes anyone. There is a short menu which changes weekly according to ingredients available..all fresh of highest quality conjured into michelin class dishes...3 entrees, 3 plats, 3 desserts but they are always all mouth watering..foie gras with baked potato..just delicious; St. Jaques marinee with smoked salmon and salmon mousse. Pigs cheeks and duck breast; guinea fowl with polenta chips..excellent; cod and scallops with a foie gras mousse..out of this world. The wine list is mainly French regional ..moderately priced. The ambience remains relaxed throughout. We have never been disappointed and always go once or twice when we are in Tignes. There is no comparison in quality and the prices are no more than some of the standard brasseries in resort or average restaurants down the mountain....I can not commend it highly enough...incontornable!

“Best in Tignes by a long way”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Been here several time snow and it's always special. Thierry and his team take real pride in what they do. It's so small they are almost on top of you in the kitchen. High end Parisian quality in a ski resort. You pay a price but they have to get the ingredients 2000 meters up! Well worth a visit.
