“Great holiday”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We normally make it one of our absolute criteria to stay somewhere within walking distance to the lift and for some reason this time we abandoned this criterion. Great move! The chalet is very spacious, bedrooms are very nicely decorated and roomy. We lost one day to heavy rain and it makes such a difference if you are staying somewhere nice. Views from the lounge and some bedrooms are wonderful. I am vegetarian and every day the food was imaginative and tasty. The fact that you are not close to the lift is not an issue as transport is provided at the start and end of the day (and sometimes in between times by arrangement). Chris and Allie are excellent hosts, very knowledgeable about the area and great fun. The hot tub was a hit with my husband! We also enjoyed the day's skiing for all the guests hosted by Chris and Allie. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed in this beautifully decorated chalet with breathtaking mountain views and five star service from Chris and Allie. Literally every little detail is thought of by the hosts so the holiday is simply yours to enjoy from start to finish. We were provided with transportation to/from the gondola each day, weather reports every morning so we knew how many layers to wear, and even the booking of a restaurant on the chef's night off was all sorted for us. The food was top quality and beatifully presented each and every day and having separate evening meal times to the children meant the adults could really relax (while the kids enjoyed some time away from their parents!) so everyone was happy. The only downside was having to leave at the end of our week's stay!! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

3 of us stayed at Chalet 365 in January 2013 and had a fabulous time.
The chalet is beautiful whilst still being homely; the food is excellent and plenty of it; the very good quality wine was included in the price with bottles that appeared to be bottomless, and the service and hospitality from Chris and Allie was second to none.

The chalet is located quite high up with lovely views facing the mountain and about 15 minutes walk to the village, but we were dropped off and picked up at the ski lift every day (at a time to suit us) so getting around was easy.

One of the highlights for me was the hosted ski day that Chris and Allie took us on (of course they chose a beautiful sunny day to take us out!)

It was great to be able to ski with someone with local knowledge who was also going to take care of you, so it certainly pushed my boundaries – my first half pipe and my first off-piste!! Thanks guys, I wouldn’t have attempted these on my own!

There were 13 staying at the chalet during our week so if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic getaway for 2, this probably isn’t for you as the dining is communal; but we were very lucky as the other guests were absolutely lovely and everyone got along very well. Such is the nature of skiing. In fact in our group of 3, we were of mixed ability so I joined the other guests to ski whilst my companions had lessons, plus there were 2 first timers from different groups who also got together, so it worked out perfectly.

We also loved the fact that Samoens is a traditional French village with character but you still have access to fantastic skiing across 5 or so other resorts.

All in all, I really can’t fault it. Had a fantastic time, have already recommended you to several people and definitely plan on coming back. Thanks Chris and Allie!

Met up with some old friends at the chalet and made some new friends. I stayed here in January for a skiing trip (my first one). Chris and Allie took complete care of us for a week and were the perfect hosts. The chalet is stunning and in an excellent location and the food and hospitality were exceptional. Chris and Allie certainly know how to make a skiing holiday successful and what people want from a skiing trip. They were friendly, helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would go back in a heartbeat. Oh and i nearly forgot...... the view from the jaccuzzi is something else. And for the first week i was back I kept expecting cake at 3 o'clock.

Room Tip: OOps, i pressed the button for swimming pool and there isn't one.

We had a brilliant week at Chalet Falcon (aka Chalet365). We stayed here for the 2013 New Year's ski week along with our friends. The accommodation is excellent, the facilities fantastic and the hospitality simply amazing!

3 families rattled around in this Chalet as there is so much room - quite surprising for a French resort.

Chris & Allie's fastidiousness from food presentation, to chauffeuring and providing advice on ski runs to ski hosting exceeded our expectations in every way.

They made all 3 families very welcome and it made for an all-round perfect holiday experience. Even making sure we got our ski hire and lift passes on time.

Mmmmm, I can still remember the freshly baked cakes awaiting our arrival back from the ski-slopes!

It snowed the day we arrived and mid-week, so we had a perfect week of skiing too. Getting to the top of the slopes is easy too, as Chris & Allie chaffeur you (3mins) to the bottom of the express gondola, which takes 8 minutes to get to the main 1600 Samoen (pronounce "Sam one") ski area. Getting everyone away from the sumptuous breakfast proved harder each morning! Chris and Allie will even sugest and book restaurants up on the mountain for lunchtime too.

PS: Don't miss out on the hot-tub on the balcony - don't worry ladies, bath-robes are provided in every room!

Myself, the wife and a gang of friends went to the alps to ride in the Passporte du Soleil and enjoys some sunny riding as it is usually wet here in Wales. We did not however find the sun but did stay again after a break of several years, with Chris and Allie in their fabulous chalet.
All of the team could only say great things about the hosts, the accomodation and the food. The post ride tea and cakes was especially appreciated, as was the special drying / kit room so there was no restriction on how muddy we got when riding. The whole place seemed a bit deluxe for a load of bikers but I would not have changed a thing. It was wonderful to stay in such a well appointed accomodation and still feel at home from day one.
A fab break for us all, Kev,Jaq and the burning rims boyos

Room Tip: All the rooms have great views and we filled the place as a group. Be sure to tell Chris and Allie i...

I stayed at Chalet 365 with a group and everything was superb, the rooms are all tastefully decorated with stunning views and fabulous bathrooms. The food and service was better than the restaurants in town and while watching the sunsets over the mountains, what more could you wish for. Chris and Allie were so helpful in helping to organise group activities and with homemade cakes and tea on the sunny terrace to come back to, what a a delight. We all had a truly fantastic time at Chalet 365
