Rob and VIcki were the perfect hosts, interesting, informative and accommodating. We were so impressed its now booked for next year, for someone that likes to go to a new resort every season they must have made a good impression. Don't be put off by the piste maps there is plenty of great skiing for a week.

Stayed with Rob and Vicki due to recommendation from our friends who stayed in March last year (and in fact came back with us too). We were really impressed with our whole stay - everything was of a really high quality: rooms, hospitality, accommodation, and the food was seriously fantastic. Rob and Vicki do what they say, they run their business with a passion and it shows. Thanks very much for a wonderful break both.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely but if we went again we would ask for the valley view. Our friends had this, bu...

First visit to Samoens for New Year ... snow, snow and more snow!

Chalet Apassion is hosted by the incredibly hospitable Rob & Vicky and is situated just outside Samoens. Its a brand new property offering 5 very lovely bedrooms with huge bathrooms for a ski chalet! It also has a very spacious sitting/dining area with the most stunning views. Food is excellent and Vicky should be proud of the above average food she presents! Its not a ski in or ski out proprety but Rob does offer a shuttle to various access points all within 5 min drive. I have stayed in quite a few chalets and Apassion really does offer superb value for money. With Geneva just over an hour away, its perfect!

Room Tip: Couple of the rooms can get quite hot due to the proximity of the chimney breast running through the...

This was my second stay at Apassion. First stay was in June for a cycling holiday, which was excellent with the Joux Plane just opposite & more great cycling in the area. Rob & Vicky are lovely people and great hosts and have a fantastic new chalet.
So I took the family back there in October. Rob & Vicky, chalet Apassion and the French Alps didn't disappoint. The family loved it and we will be returning to Chalet Apassion as soon as we can.

We have just spent a fantastic week in the beautiful Chalet Apassion. This is a new chalet and the attention to detail is amazing. If you are looking on here to find luxury accommadation then this is it. Even better than the chalet are the hosts Vicky & Rob, they really cannot do enough for you, nothing is a problem, we have stopped in other chalets around Samoens over the years and this really is the best yet. We stopped for bed and breakfast, the choice for breakfast is endless and you end up eating so much you won't need lunch. We also had an evening meal one night and Vicky's culinary skills are exemplary. Chalet Apassion - its all in the name - its amazing we will be back - sooner rather than later we hope !

Room Tip: We had the front upstairs bedroom, it had a door onto the balcony and an en-suite with a bath &...

We stayed in June 2011 - Rob & Vic were there to welcome us (with Tea & Cake) and from that moment onward they were the perfect hosts. The Chalet is done to the highest standards, yet it feels welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for Rob & Vic, and they really seemed to enjoy looking after people. The Summer in Samones is fantastic - we will return.

P.S. the hot hot has some of the best views around!!

This is a really lovely chalet with some of the most spectacular views across the valley. The chalet is new but has loads of character and benefits from all mod cons. The rooms are really comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. Rob and Vicky are great hosts. Breakfast is tasty and ample and an end of day barbecue in the late evening sun on the balcony was delicious (and very scenic). Samoens is a very pretty town with a beautiful river running through it and loads of activities on the doorstep. We did some great walking in the surrounding mountains and there some fanstastic scenery all around. The village and the chalet are excellent Summer and Winter destinations and we'd definitely go back.
