Eaten here many times - yes the waiter is a whirlwind of frenetic energy - yes it can be busy and feel a bit crowded - BUT the tartiflette is amazing and never fails. On this visit the service was excellent and friendly. For a restaurant in a ski resort in France it was also good value. Happy days!

We've eaten here a few times and tried to get in the other evening without luck -- it was a Friday night in high season, so we expected difficulties. Every time we've gone it has been chaotic service -- lots of running around but not much actually being delivered to tables without multiple requests. The fondues were very nice as was the tartiflette, just don't expect to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and service.

Very traditional, very French. Tucked away in a quiet corner of town, this small, cellar like restaurant provides the typical Savoyard specialities like Raclette, Pierrade, Fondue and Tartiflette, or beautifully cooked, simple, 'plats du jour' of tender meat and vegetables, maybe accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes. Good selection of local wines, and some from further afield. Good value by local standards (we paid 70 Euros for a shared salad starter, two main courses, two delicious desserts and a decent bottle of red). Hidden gem - well worth a visit. Must book in advance, it's a small place with few tables, and popular with those 'in the know'.

We always eat here when visiting Samoens. Went for €24 menu this time and not disappointed. Service fast and friendly in this compact restaurant just off the main square. Good value for money, tasty food and pleasant surrounds. Mainly traditional local food.

A magical Christmas Eve in this jewel of a restaurant. Excellent food and service. Practice your French because little English spoken in this family run restaurant.
