Great craic, as you'd expect. Tuesday quiz nights are fun and the Thursday DJ night is pretty good, even when it gets packed out. Try a B52 -- but be careful not to burn your hair!! Oh yes, can't forget Arno's wonderful french onion soup -- you MUST have it -- delicious!

“Irish Après-Ski at its best.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2013

Great atmosphere and good selection of draught beers and other beverages? Don't bother about the food. Several screens that show football and rugby. Good location, but you can't help feel sorry for the upstairs neighbors. Smoking room. Service, at the bar only, is friendly. The place, despite extending a few years ago, is bursting out of its seams.

“There are better bars in Samoens”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

Hunted this out due to the great reviews on here. Was a bit disappointed to be honest. The atmosphere is not very inviting, its decor is quite stark, it's cold and there are only about 6 tables. There are a lot of regulars at the bar, which can also be a bit off-putting. The menu consists only of Chicken wings or Nachos, so you wonder why bother! The music is good. And there is free wifi. But Aspen bar has a better atmosphere and choice of drinks! Quiz night on a Tuesday is good fun though.

“Best Bar in town!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

Really fun and friendly Irish bar, predominantly English clientèle and seasonaires. Good selection of drinks, great service, good music and live sport. Alot of the other bars in town are a bit tame/locals only, definitely my favourite! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good night out!

“Beers in town”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

Ther is an Irish bar in every town, no matter how remote. As always there was a good atmosphere with lots of noise and music together with a wide range of beers to suit everyone's taste.
