370 crocodiles, a great play area and lots of fun for a 4 and 2 year old. We had a great time here for an afternoon and thought it was great value for money as kids pay from 3 years up. You get really close to the crocs and there are so many!

Thank Victoria W

We went to the crocodile farm on 2nd July. A two hour train journey from Lyon ( quite enjoyable) after our car hire failed to materialise ( another story!).Then we did not know how to get there! But with the help of the tourist information and taxi firm in Pierrelatte we got there!

As it was nearly 1pm we decided to eat in the cafe there. The girl there did not understand us, but she got a colleague from out the back to tell us about the sandwiches. We decided on the chicken "sandwiches" . When they come they were like those at subway, but they were delicious. The staff at the cafe were friendly , helpful and cheerful !

The actual farm was incredible! I have never seen so many varieties of crocodiles so close up. They also had giant tortoises. For a lover of crocodiles like my husband it was heaven!! The only down side was that the signage could had been better. The map they gave you was numbered with the stages round the farm, but not all the numbers were on the ground to correspond. The explanation about each species was very good.

The gift shop had plenty of souvenirs for children which was all you really needed.

We left at 4pm when our taxi came back to pick us up to take to the station, It had been an enjoyable day - well worth the visit.

Small place. Quite some crocs, but not too many different species. Little learning for the kids, but high prices. 15 EUR adult, 9 EUR for kids >2 years. The parking is the only thing free.

Visited here on way back to lyon airport from venasque in provence as we had an hour or so to kill.... gutted as could have spent a lot longer here.. so many crocodiles and lots of information in all languages regarding them . A great way to spend an afternoon. ... if not all day ... a must visit if you are in the area.

We were heading off to a crocodile farm, on a bitterly cold day. Our expectations were just some cheap little farm which would be over in a few minutes. But as soon as we started walking around, we were simply blown away. There was no ticket queue, which might have made it a little more enjoyable. The design was made to look like you were actually outside, which was better than being outside, on this very cold day. We were whisked away to a land where everything was tropical, with beach and forest like designs, with waterfalls and exotic flowers. If we had the chance to go again, we would definitely take it!
