“3rd Trip, Home from Home”
Reviewed March 31, 2015 for a stay in January 2015

We came here for our 3rd year running and had another lovely stay at chalet julienne.

It is excellently located for the fabulous resort and its is always wonderful to ski back to the chalet, sit on the deck with a beer whilst the boys make a cozy fire.

The chalet is perfectly equipped for all needs and don't forget to make the most of the sauna to revitalise your bones!

I look forward to staying again next year! Thank you :)

“Great chalet, amazing resort”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 for a stay in January 2013

I've stayed at Chalet Julienne about 3 times now and I have loved every single trip. My last trip in Jan 2013 was probably the best ski trip I have had (out of about 30). The chalet itself, its great location up the hill from the les gets (great vistas) and the fantastic people it attracts all make this THE accommodation of choice. The chalet has everyting you need - including social living space (with log fires), comfy beds, power showers and a sauna. Have stayed at the chalet with both friends and solo - great destination for any ski trip occasion. Les Gets is fantastic too, as are the pistes. Happy days. Cheers.

“Excellent Chalet, Excellent Holiday!”
Reviewed March 26, 2013 for a stay in January 2013

Chalet Julienne is everything that you would want from a ski rental. The chalet is spacious and warm (great underfloor heating and open fire), sauna to warm your bones at the end of the day and great storage for you ski equipment. The bedrooms are comfy, with great views and plenty of storage space.
The open plan kitchen and large table to sit around makes for many great nights in drinking wine and playing cards. Bonus for the boys is that is does have Sky Sports and wifi throughout the chalet.
The chalet is conveniently located for the ski lifts and town and being able to ski back to the chalet at the end of the day is an added bonus.
I would absolutely recommend this chalet! :)

“Joy in Julienne pour tous!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013 for a stay in March 2013

Just come back from a great holiday spent at Chalet Julienne with a group of 10 people and one baby - fantastic time had all round - thank you.

The chalet is ideal for large groups which is what we look for in a ski chalet, but having 2 separate sides to it does give an air of privacy when needed, and is great for a younger family on one side and noisy friends on the other! The sound proofing between the two sides is excellent. All facilities were good, the heated floors were wonderful, beds were comfy, ample hot water. The bonus of a sauna and lovely verandas and balconies to have a cold beer in the sun at the end of a hard day was gladly received too.

We hired a car for extra ease, although we used the bus stop at the end if the road to get onto the slopes in a morning. The town is within walking distance too if you fancied stretching your legs, with some lovely restaurants, creperies, Boulanger/patisserie, and bars. There are some good après ski bars for those who want them, but overall the town is relaxed and peaceful in the evening. Morzine is only 5 minutes away for those who would like more of a nightlife.

Les Gets has far more than I had realised by way of skiing, with a wide range of lovely wide open reds, blues and challenging blacks. It was relatively quiet too, which was a bonus in allowing us to tear up the pistes on our Ski Trax challenge!

Favourite things about this place is the general welcoming, homely and relaxed feel and I always love to ski home at the end of a day, which you can to Chalet Julienne.

Great holiday - thank you.

“Great location, ski back to the chalet, cosy fire-side fun!”

We had a brilliant time a Chalet Julienne. 12 keen skiers enjoying the fantastic snow of the 2012/13 season. We loved the fact that the very local bus stop took you either up to les folliets chair lift or down into the village and even better you can ski directly back to the chalet at the end of the day!!
All mod cons in the chalet: speedy wifi, sky tv, sauna, endless hot water and a log fire mean its great for staying in in the evening or Les Gets itself is a cute village with some really nice restaurants for all budgets and some great bars for apres!

“Great Group Get-away”
Reviewed March 5, 2013 for a stay in March 2012

We stayed in Chalet Julienne with a group of friends and it was excellent! We used the whole chalet, but I can see how it could be used by two smaller groups too. It’s spacious, has well equipped kitchens and very comfortable beds. All mod cons are included such as Sky TV and Wi-Fi. A great plus in my books was the SAUNA – fantastic after a day on the slopes! The chalet is about half way up the hill, but very close to a well serviced bus stop. Les Gets itself is a great town, with access to brilliant skiing for all levels. I highly recommend Chalet Julienne.

“Chalet Julienne B cheap not cheerful”
Reviewed February 20, 2013 for a stay in February 2013

We stayed in the smaller of the 2 units, it can be described as 2 bedrooms though it would require very good friends if more than a couple. The second bedroom is directly off the main bedroom and only one bathroom.

The whole unit is in need of TLC the kitchen is small poorly equipped and the oven needs replacing. There is only adequate sitting space for 2 people unless you want to sit at the dining table all night.

A vehicle is essential, the chalet is well located for Chavannes ski lift though a good distance from shops bars restaurants etc.

There was no adequate facility for ski equipment storage, the Sauna, utility room and one shower are a shared facility. The fact that the washing machine and drier can not be utilised simultaneously annoying given the restricted access.
