Chalet Bluebell Les Gets
Reviewed July 8, 2013

I stayed at Chalet Bluebell for four nights on a group cycling holiday. Located just a few minutes walk out of Les Gets with fantastic views down the valley to Alpine Mountains.
The chalet is well equipped and comfortable, with good storage facilities for bikes, etc. The real highlight of Chalet Bluebell are the hosts, Hilly and Duncan. They have a very welcoming and friendly style, relaxed but attentive to their guests needs and prompt to respond as needed.
Duncan's culinary skills are excellent and I would thoroughly recommend the option of eating in the chalet for evening meals. The food is not only wonderful but also great value too!
Hilly also arranged airport transfers which were good and punctual and well priced.

Hilly and Duncan looked after us for 4 days in July for a cycling trip.

The chalet is very well laid out and catered for cycling very well with a secure lock up and a bike wash.

Outstanding service, fantastic location and amazing hospitality. The food from Duncan is out of this world.

We were greeted by a friendly driver at the airport and comfortably driven to Chalet Bluebell. Duncan and Hilly welcomed us by name and we were shown to our nice room with en suite and lovely views from both windows. We were offered refreshments, which were available throughout our stay. All the meals were exceptional and varied. All were eagerly anticipated and greeted with great enthusiasm. It is just a short walk to the village. We were there for the Spring Flowers photographic workshop with Lucilla Phelps and the lovely walks. Could not have asked for more from our stay and hospitable hosts. Thank you. Christine & Gilbert.

Room Tip: Nice clean, quiet room, if a little small.

From the moment of arrival the staff were friendly and hospitable, Hilly and Duncan provide a great atmosphere and were always on hand to chat or make tea. The meals were out of this world, an explosion of flavours, cooked to perfection and provided the perfect surroundings for a short summer break.

I think I was lucky to get accommodation at Bluebell Chalet, Duncan and Hilary who have just taken over running the place are excellent hosts. The food is absolutely fantastic, Duncan is a fully trained chef and his meals were to die for. Very comfortable accommodation and wonderful views from the chalet.
Aplace to stay not only for skiing but a very good place to relax, walk, do mountain bike riding or just to admire the scenery and wild flowers. Easy for mont Caly which gives views of Mont Blanc also the cable car and chairs were running to go up the mountain for more fantastic views.
Aplace to go all the year round.

Room Tip: Ask for Room 6, lovely views of the mountains but I know there are other rooms equally as good.

Great atmosphere at Chalet Bluebell, hosted by Hillary and wonderful food prepared by Duncan.
Friendly and helpful, always having the time to chat and give knowledgable advice as where to go to get the best out of the area.
A cosy ski chalet aimed at the winter season, but a wonderful base to explore the region in the spring, summer or autumn.
Highly recomended for couples or families with young children.

Room Tip: I think that ALL the rooms have wonderful views of the mountains
