OK, if you don't like the traditional alpine wooden furniture that is virtually everywhere, you will not like La Pela either, but other than that it is an place you can't go wrong. Good food and service, not very fancy but good value for money.

We live here in Les Gets and its our restaurant of choice for entertaining family and friends. We went in last night and the Pela with Cepes was sublime. As well as the food the service is very attentive and the decor and ambiance are guaranteed to impress, it feels like you are walking anito an old farm especially with the roaring log fire.

New owners this season but still a great atmosphere and amazing food - all the Savoyard favourites plus some great seafood dishes. The place the locals go to for a family gathering (says it all). Bookings essential.

If you want a genuine local restaurant then this is the place. Visited new year week and so was very busy, needing a few days notice for a table. Food excellent and varied with plenty of choices of both local and French dishes. Wine list very good again local and then mainly French wines. Service was excellent with the waiter remembering all the complicated order and getting it right! Well worth booking for a great evening out.

We picked this lovely little restaurant out in Les Gets, and snuck in without the kids. Beautiful setting and very friendly staff allowed us to pretend we were out on a date again. The food was excellent, well presented and washed down with a bottle of local plonk for a reasonable price, given the location and the setting.
So impressed, we returned with our kids to enjoy a similar experience. The only little downside was that as it was so busy (New year Week) they had to be reminded to come over and take our money!! If you take small kids they have a limited offering and will serve asap, unless you request to be served as one!
