We stayed here as a family recently. It is definitely a 3 star.

The hotel is a welcoming cosy place with very pleasant staff, particularly Giuseppe and his wife. But the hotel seemed to lack direction and management - maybe because it was end of season? Lots of niggles such as holes in the bedroom curtains, broken paving slabs at the front door, dirty collection of floor mats at the entrance. The hotel sign half missing, an inch of dust under the piano, bedroom furniture a bit tired - I won’t go on.

The beds were comfy and the linen was fresh and clean. The food was wholesome. Not an extensive choice of main courses, but always plenty of salad/veg/pasta etc and tasty. It was good for family dining. The dining room staff were very attentive and personable. The pool area is good enough and was clean. Hotel is warm and cosy.

We had a lovely week’s holiday and I wasn’t disappointed with the hotel overall.

But it could be amazing with a little effort to spruce it up. The whole place needs a refresh by someone with an eye for detail.

LouMar, many thanks for your honest and objective review.

It is true that after 4 months of full occupancy, a seasonal hotel can show some wear and tear (especially the exteriors after this punishing winter) and the staff might also show a little "Endofseasonitus"!

They will nevertheless be very disappointed by your comments. They give 200% all season and they delight in pleasing our guests. We will all take note of your review and act on it.

Please make sure you get in touch directly at out London sales office or our Head Office in Chambery so that we can make sure you are looked after as VIPs should you stay with us again.

I have selected for our ski holidays to go to the 2 Alpes and stay at the Hotel Ibiza last March. We have stayed for 1 week. The hotel was really top in all levels, accommodation, services, staff, organization and quality. Breakfast buffet, lunch and diner buffet so tasty and with a large variety. Show cooking every night! Family ambiance and all staff ready to be at your service. Hotel's location great, too. We really loved the village which is full of energy and easy to walk it through and around. Locals were very polite. Most important: quality and quantity of snow and slops amazing! Thank you hotel Ibiza for this great experience! We will be back!

I would recommend this hotel for half board if you get the right price. We made out booking direct through Madm Vacance website. We were a family of three incluing a 4 year old.
Most of the staff are cheerful and helpful.
Top tips. Ask for a mountain view room - it makes a big difference. We had a road view 1st night but following a request, were moved to mountain view the second day.
The pool, steam room and sauna were welcome additions. We used and enjoyed them most evenings. The morning and evening shuttle worked well. The bar area was comfortable. The hotel is unusually appointed but comfortable and pleasant.
We arranged a transfer using an online service called BensBuses. 3 people return total £150. Hotel or private transfer circa Eu200 each way.
Only downside is they drop you in town rather than at the door.
I called the hotel on arrival. Manager picked us up. Didnt seem too happy. Literally arrived, opened the back door and zero assistance with luggage. Left us to load and unload the our ourselves. Was a surly and disinterested French welcome akin to Ryan Air over British airways.
Having said that, everyone else was very helpful.
We enquired on arrival regarding upgrading from half board to all inclusive.
No one was able to give us a price or seemed interested in accomodating this request. In the end we were relieved to just be half board as it meant lunchtime options were not limited. (Going back to the hotel or using the restaurant would have been a major faff). Mountain food for 3 generally circa Eu40+
Evening meal was reasonable as was breakfast.
Top tip for the restaurant : before the service tell your staff what the buffet options are. I say this as none of the waiting staff were able to explain what any of the less obvious dishes were. Each night, when asked, they had to go into the kitchen and ask the chef. Having said that, in all other aspects, waiting staff was attentive. Also, I would avoid the house wine.
The wifi was good throughout. The hotel was spotless. Rooms cleaned impeccably everyday.
I would stay here again.

I have spent 6 nights in the hotel, gor a ski holiday during a festival.
At the beginning we were disappointed by the hotel and breakfast, for the price paid, but researching prices for other hotels in the area, found out that price/ quality was ok.
Hotel rooms are refurbished, still furniture is old.
There was a constant bad smell in the bath room.
Breakfast is rich, but medium quality.
Jacuzzi water was cold.
Pro: the staff is nice and helpful, nice lobby.
For a 3 star hotel in the area it was ok, but it is less than we expected.

It was our pleasure to visit your hotel again ! As always the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean! One more time we enjoyed your terrific service, great cuisine and the snow!! We spent a lot of time skiing at my favourite snow center!! It was very easy to reach it with the van provided anytime we wanted. See you next year !
