Recently stayed for a ski trip with my family. Pillows were old and stained, pretty disgusting and they don’t try and hide this as you make up all your own bedding. Apartment was very tired. Kitchen had no kettle or toaster, big disappointment. Not enough room in the ski locker for all our skis/poles/boots. The only good thing was that it was close to the ski lift and we had a nice view.

A little apprehesive after reading the reviews, but going fully armed with everyone elses comments, there were no surprises when arriving. I will write a few extra points, which I havent previously read. We found the Crystal ski hire shop which they use was about a 10/15 min walk to Edelweiss, so quite draining for the kids at the start and end of the holiday. We knew the check in time was 5pm, Crystal store all the luggage at smokey Joes and then delivery it early evening. This meant that we could ski all Saturday afternoon on the free button lifts (we arrived at resort 12pm). The ice rink was free, but you had to pay for the boots, about 4.50 for adults and 3.50 Euro for kids under 11. Great boots and we had free use of the penguins/toys which were already on the ice (not sure if always available, as we only went once). The pool and changing was clean and nicer than expected. The Super U was great, spit roast chickens and roast potatos available. We also ate alot at the Takeaway Burger , (but ate in). Cheap prices and the kids liked the chicken burger (without the majo/salad), chips and a drink for 5.50 Euro.

Room Tip: The fridge is noisy when sleeping in the lounge. We turned it down or off over night.

We stayed for a week in a 6p apartment. We found it dirty and had to cope with a terrible smell for the whole week. The hotel staff kept saying the smell was from the kitchen, and it is going to pass...no improvement in 7 days. Ski locker was far from secure so we kept our skis and boots inside. The rules pretended that WE were forced to clean the apartment at departure even the furniture, kitchen equipment, and wash the floor without being given any cleaning hardware, otherwise, a 100€ fine will be applyed. I want to mention again, that when we arrived, the place was dirty, dusty, and smelly. The only good thing was that the costs were really small. Would not recommend! (In the photo you can notice how "clean" was the apartment when we arrived)

The place is close (lesss than 100 m) to the ski lift Belle Etoile. Arrival and departure were fast and smooth, Reception is nice. The quality of the room is correct, and fits the price. WIFI is free but too slow. The room is comfortable for two persons but it contains four beds...

Room Tip: Correct place with nice service. Guest should verify the size of the rooms before booking.

My son and his friends stayed here for a week in January. He said there was nobody available when they arrived to check in and were unable to get in until 5pm and had to vacate by 9 am on the day of leaving ( seems earlier than most other places). He said the room was quite grubby and the bed was very uncomfortable. He actually came home with a bad back! He also said the room was so cold that he had to wear, joggers, t shirt & jumper to bed each night and they only had 1 blanket as bedding. I know it wasn't the most expensive accommodation, but you still expect comfort and warmth. Would not recommend this accommodation. .
